Full Subrogation Amount Obtained Prior to the Commencement of Litigation
A large insurance company contacted Pino & Associates, LLP to commence a lawsuit against the negligent party for property damage sustained to its insured, for which the carrier was obligated to issue payment under its insurance policy with the insured. Within a matter of days, we were able to receive payment in the full amount sought by the insurance company, without the need to commence litigation.
Pre-Discovery Settlement of Matter Involving Nerve Damage to Hand Requiring Surgery After Hand Was Cut When Wine Bottle Manufactured by Client Broke
In a matter involving a hairdresser in her early 20's who sustained damage to her hand when a wine bottle manufactured by defendant broke, the case settled prior to the commencement of discovery for a nominal contribution from our client.
